“Leave her alone” said Ashish to four drunken men tormenting a woman on the road.
But they just mocked at his bravado.
He was sacred too but still spoke unhesitatingly “I have already uploaded your pictures on my facebook page and asked for help. Leave now or my friends and police will find you! Go!”

Twitter works faster. But yay to men like Ashish.

Ohh that's very brave of his. Indeed a gallant post 🙂
We need more gallant men (and women!) these days. Perfect for the times, Naba!
Well done, Ashish! Smart thinking. May his tribe increase!! 🙂
He was very brave! So glad he came along! ♥
Great story. You really showed us that he was brave instead of telling us that he was brave and that is great!
Mustering enough courage to utter that single sentence is for sure a "Gallant" act 🙂
good one Naba

Sometimes just a voive can create a difference even when you are frightened from the inside! Never keep quiet and yes social media is a powerful tool if used intelligently!

That is true, now a days social media has become the modern weapon. Why, just today I saw a pic of a cop in a bike stopped before the Zebra crossing at a traffic signal, uploaded by a common man in Bangalore Traffic Police page. Social media ki Jai!
Presence of mind is all u need at times…
gallant indeed!! wish more people would be like him!
Hip Hip Hurray for Ashish !! That's being technically thoughtful 🙂
Gallant indeed!!
Thanks for tagging…
Now, that is called quick thinking! Great move…
Facebook and smart phones have their uses, haven't they?!
I wish real people like this existed.
Truly gallant in galvanizing the use of social media!
Smart and gallant, Ashish surely is!
That a good use of social media.
This is great idea even if he hadn't! Good one 🙂
courageous and smart! Better use of social media, reminds me of a picture of two idiots in the delhi metro who refused to give a woman the 'reserved for women' seat. Someone put up the picture on facebook and it was widely shared.

Yay for social media! 🙂
Gallant is such a beautiful word. We need more of it.
#theawsomedish from the a to z blogging challenge.
you meant "he was scared too" i guess
surely the gallant is the need of the society in today's time and age, earlier it was only required on borders.
Gallant indeed and clever too! Social media makes things more difficult for people to misbehave and get away with it. 🙂
Yay to Ashish. Social media is always not a bane.
I liked your post ! simple and thought provoking ! we need more persons like ashish !
Woah! We need a lot of people like this in our country!
Very gallant. We need more people like Ashish. At last social media comes in handy.
