G is for Gallant

“Leave her alone” said Ashish to four drunken men tormenting a woman on the road.

But they just mocked at his bravado.

He was sacred too but still spoke unhesitatingly “I have already uploaded your pictures on my facebook page and asked for help. Leave now or my friends and police will find you! Go!”

  1. What an idea Ashish 😉 or should I say what an idea Naba 🙂
Thank you so much for linking my posts !

  2. Mustering enough courage to utter that single sentence is for sure a "Gallant" act 🙂
    good one Naba

  3. Sometimes just a voive can create a difference even when you are frightened from the inside! Never keep quiet and yes social media is a powerful tool if used intelligently!

  4. That is true, now a days social media has become the modern weapon. Why, just today I saw a pic of a cop in a bike stopped before the Zebra crossing at a traffic signal, uploaded by a common man in Bangalore Traffic Police page. Social media ki Jai!

  5. courageous and smart! Better use of social media, reminds me of a picture of two idiots in the delhi metro who refused to give a woman the 'reserved for women' seat. Someone put up the picture on facebook and it was widely shared.

  6. Gallant is such a beautiful word. We need more of it.

  7. you meant "he was scared too" i guess
surely the gallant is the need of the society in today's time and age, earlier it was only required on borders.

  8. Gallant indeed and clever too! Social media makes things more difficult for people to misbehave and get away with it. 🙂

  9. Very gallant. We need more people like Ashish. At last social media comes in handy.
