Online shopping seems to be the rage these days. Well, I do shop online but on rare occasions really when there is no other option available. In that too, there are only a few sites that I actually rely on. If there is anything apart from books that I wish to buy online, then it is jabong that I place my trust upon. The reason being whenever I have purchased anything from them, it has turned out to be exactly the way it was shown on their site.
Today after many days I skipped my boring office to gift a day from my hectic schedule just to myself. With no intention of stepping out of the house, I decided to do what I do best; laze around with a few books by my side with my laptop for company. So in between my awesomely laid back monday, I chanced upon jabong’s Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani Collection. I have not watched the movie yet but since there has been so much talk of it everywhere in the media, I found myself inquisitive of what really was the collection all about. More so, since all the actors in the movie appear wonderfully dressed in the promos and trailers, the idea of a collection from the same was enticing enough to make a sceptic shopper like me browse through it.
Only a woman would understand the constant need to keep her wardrobe updated. Added to that the need to go out of the house atleast five days in a week makes it imperative that we have enough in our cloth armoury to not repeat the same clothes within a single week. Without a doubt repetition would be blasphemous to the fraternity of women! So with free time in my hand added to the impetus of keeping the wardrobe updated led me to find quite a number of things in the Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani Collection. And as expected I found them too!

The collection is divided into four categories namely ethnic elegance, midnight party, playing it cool and casual cut. The segregation itself was quite interesting as there was a little bit of all from various types of dressers. Clothing, accessories, shoes, jewellery and bags the collection has got it all. And the best part is that a lot of it is affordable as well. Considering the fact that most online shoppers who would probably shop from this collection or at whom it is targeted traditionally fall in the bracket of early 20s to early 30s with some still students or others just beginning to earn, the affordability factor is truly important for its success. Also, for those finicky shoppers like me who still want to play it safe by selecting known brands while shopping online, this collection has a long list of the trusted brands as well.
So if I were to say whether the collection is worth a look, I’d say yes! If I were to say if the collection is affordable, then I’d say yes! And if I were to say if the collection is worth spending time looking into, then too I’d say yes!
