Papers lay strewn all around as Miya looked in disbelief.
This wasn’t how the house looked when she had left.
‘Great! A theft!’ sighing she suddenly noticed something move.
She wasn’t alone, the culprit was still there.
And it was a mouse!

This is my response to the weekly Gargleblaster challenge, which is to answer the following question in exactly 42 words: Who dunnit?
Ha ha ha.. Cute one, Naba 🙂 I see we both took a similar tangent 😉
😀
I'm glad it wasn't anyone (or anything) bigger than a mouse.
better than a rat. 🙂
Hehehe – very cute.
Great
Haha, sometimes the critters are scarier than a person!
They sure can make a mess of things, those mice!
I started to hold my breath, until I read the culprit was a mouse! LOL They can be pretty scary though too. ♥
I am scared to death bY MOUSE ! i am sure more frightened of them than thieves
*hahaha* That's adorable, Naba! There's always that moment of near-panic when you first glimpse that unexpected moving object… 🙂 Thanks for linking to the gargleblaster!
Cute ending!
Hheheh thank God it was a mouse. Cute!
Very cute! I'm not sure that the mouse is that much less terrifying than the intruder though! Shudder… 🙂
Cute, One time I cleaned out a mouse's nest. It had some shiny objects, a few pecans, pretty much what cartoons drew in their homes.
I'm not sure whether a mouse or a thief is worse!
I'd be squealing!
Aw, cute! Definitely better than the other kind of thief! 🙂
Cute. 🙂
