Something about the book (from the Book’s cover):

Have you ever found true love or are you still searching for your special someone? Have you ever met someone that you thought would never leave you? Have you ever trusted someone with all your heart? Love and marriage – can we make it work or do we just leave it all up to destiny? Do you think one can discover love in an arranged marriage? Can you imagine life without the person who you could not live without?
Meet Neha and Sundeep. They are set up through their families for an arranged marriage. It is not love at first sight. However, they fall in love with each other through a very relaxed process of mutual understanding. After Sundeep proposes and Neha excitedly agrees to be with him, what follows is a heartwarming courtship and a big fat Indian wedding with all the gana bajana (musical performances).
Love Hurts, Love Heals walks through Neha and Sundeep’s moments together- their honeymoon in Australia and New Zealand as well as their move to ISB Hyderabad for Sundeep’s MBA , and many other exciting adventures. They have an angelic daughter, Jiya, after a few years and life is perfect. A bizarre incident occurs, after seven years of their marriage, which changes everyone’s lives forever. Sundeep, lost and confused, embarks on a journey to discover his inner self and the mysteries of love and life.
Love Hurts, Love Heals is a family’s journey on the road of life’s unexpected turns and at times, road blocks. The question of why life is not fair to good-hearted people is this story’s pivotal question.
A must read for those searching for life’s answers about finding love and healing in its absence.
A true love story that will kiss your pain away!
Now for my View:

When Sundeep asked me to review his book, I promptly accepted. I love reading and would never pass on an opportunity to read new tales. When I took the book in my hand the first thing that struck me was the title of the book – Love Hurts, Love Heals. That’s when I made a mistake; for I took it to be just another love story with probably some twists and turns. But I must apologise to Sundeep for the book was and is much more than that. It is a husband’s ode to his wife who was snatched away from him by the cruel twist of destiny. It is a father’s attempt to chronicle his life with the mother of his child. It is the gift of a father to his daughter in the form of memories of her mother. It is love in the purest of forms. It is not a book to milk profits but a beautiful treasure of love from a man who truly fathomed the meaning of love. I am grateful to you Sundeep for giving me the opportunity to share your story.
Love Hurts, Love Heals chronicles the life of the author, Sundeep Tiberwal , over a period of seven to eight years beginning with his big fat Indian wedding to his late wife Neha Tiberwal. Everything goes on smoothly till one day ruthless fate strikes a fatal blow to their perfect life. Their story moves so effortlessly starting from their courtship to their wedding followed by the birth of their daughter filled with vacations and weddings of relatives in between that the sudden twist jolts you out of slumber. It is heart breaking, his story! I couldn’t help but feel the pain he must have felt and will perhaps always feel. It is brave of him to come out with this book for his daughter and it is that effort that I applaud. It is moving and the letter at the end of it addressed to his daughter will bring you to tears. It is a book that cannot be read and not felt. It is a memoir of love in the purest of forms.
His tale reinstates my faith in true love and in men who truly know the value of till death do us part, and perhaps beyond! One should surely read it for it is the unpretentious story of true love, the modest account of a timeless bond; a without airs true life-love story!

  1. I liked your review…for me the most important aspect about this Novel was it's a non fiction and a real life is always better than the reel life and therefore the incidences were of much more importance…so as to feel and imagine one person's plethora of getting through to a critical life changing situations and realizing the hidden potentials to cope up with it…!!!

i also got an opportunity from Sundeep to review this book…here are my views on it
