Let the child in you live free and never die..

Peculiar are the ways of survival indeed where in a dash to lead decent lives, we quintessentially forget to live! Time passes by, moments whirl away unnoticed while we stay engrossed in a never-ending race towards a forever fading finish line. Life has unfortunately been constantly choked out of us in the times we live today. And why not, since we have in reality become drawn into the mad charade of achieving the pinnacle of temporal bliss. The truth though is that our civilization today is actually nearing a nadir where life would pass by without us even having a real chance to live through it. So stop, think and absorb life before it’s too late!

Childhood we acknowledge was the golden era of our lives. How eager we were once to grow up just to avoid the routine life of study and school! But surprisingly don’t we all wish now to be back to those very days? Ofcourse, it is the universal truth of life. Responsibilities, Family, Career, Home, Money and more clog our minds and hearts from the moment we are as they say ‘mature’ or ‘adult’. We begin sprinting towards these goals and time slips away in the process.

We want the best home for our family, a promotion, a good car, good schools and colleges for our children, adept medical facilities for our parents. But all these come at a cost; the cost of hard and never ending work. Without a doubt all these duties are very important, but it doesn’t mean that we can’t find a way to get through all the stress, does it?

  1. Carpe Diem, as the saying goes, Naba! Btw, even childhood seems to have shrunk these days to a bare 8-10 years – after which the child is also under stress to perform!

  2. Indeed true it was the golden period for sure .. I am still living my childhood ..
but these days kids are under so much pressure all the time ..

I hope they are allowed to live and enjoy their childhood.
