The Petty, Miserable Indian Blur!

Women persecuted,
Bruises and scars linger,
Victimized and raped,
Souls in terror.
These evils in my nation anchor,
While I simply sulk in anger,
Living with the petty, miserable Indian slander!
Lives valued no longer,
Except of power mongers,
Money with hoi-polloi no longer,
Life only for who launder,
These evils in my nation anchor,
While I merely rot in a dingy corner,
Living with the petty, miserable Indian slander!
They speak of culture, of history and future,
All we have but are pitiable natures,
With crooks and politicians winning life’s wagers,
Our lives this malignant apathy endangers,
These evils in my nation anchor,
While I simply suffocate in this land yonder,
Living with the petty, miserable Indian slander!
No child, no adult feel safer,
Tormentors or defenders we wonder,
Power with those a wretched blunder,
In seats of power they ponder,
To grow manifolds their foul plunder.
These evils in my nation anchor,
While I merely struggle in feral thunder,
Living with the petty, miserable Indian slander!

  1. It seems as if the entire nation is handcuffed…waiting for the things to happen with eyes rather numb…helpless…!!!

    Beautiful lines…!!!

  2. Sad but true. Only Collective Efforts will work in such cases. Not just the Security Measures but Education, Mind Sets and our Social Framework needs to be revised.

  3. I wish I could just go and narrate your wonderful lines in front of that dumb mute bot named MMS …who rules a country , once a spiritual hub.
Now India is a synonym to shattering womankind at all levels.. a synonym to.. Govt and private level scams 365 days an year and 10 years a decade.. and a synonym to cowardly approach towards neighboring countries,no matter how unjust their approach towards us are.
..better be born a Netaji and Bhagat Singh , someone between us , before they perish the soul and body of the land named India !!
pardon me for that ferocious behaviour , for , lot thats graved inside the heart .. craves to explode out after reading those lines .. which show us, the true Indian's helpless reflection !!

  4. Nabanita you missed Assembly election voting this time, please vote loksabha elections without miss ….A girl with such amazing thoughts should not miss to vote…:)

  5. Very well said Naba. Would it be possible to sit on a chair that has only one leg? Our society is in a trauma trying to adjust only with one leg. Life too has four strong pillars such as Physical, Spiritual, Social and Psychological. Our society is more tilted with greed than need and hence unable to have a balance with the other requisite pillars. We have given up Manners and Morals that cleanses the society. What can we expect except apathetic conditions.

    Good write!
